What exactly is the purpose of life?

What is the definition of life?


Many people face this question at some point in their lives, and it is a tough one to answer because it occurs in everyone. Every person's answer is different- this is a highly personal issue, and we believe that finding the answer is the most difficult and crucial task for us, and most people don't know how to tell or find the answer.
This article is about an idea that was first introduced in Japan, and they believe they can provide an answer to this question.

This narrative begins in the Japanese hamlet of Okinawa. Okinawa is a typical hamlet, but it has a distinct identity in that, in comparison to the rest of the globe, the bulk of the population is over 100 years old. When we ask them whether they are happy in their lives, the majority of them say yes, and this is not because they have a lot of money; many of them are ordinary people who are happy, and this is where the purpose of life, the goal of life, and the name IKIGAI comes from.


According to this IKIGAI, we require four things in order to be happy and fulfilled.

1. What you're excellent at 

We may be good at a variety of things such as coding, sketching, singing, sports, accounting, and so on; nevertheless, this is only a small part of our lives.

2. A source of happiness for you

What do you enjoy doing? You don't have to be an expert at it. You could be good at it yet unhappy with it, but these are merely two aspects of your life.

3. The services you provide and for which you are compensated.

You are content with the things you do because you are skilled at them.
The work you do and the money you earn do not have to be the same. You can make money by instructing, driving a cab, or working as a chef, but you are not required to be happy.

4. The item the world requires.

Money, affection, counsel, and a variety of other things are all needed in the world.

But when you combine these four elements, you get your IKIGAI.

1. You may be happy and good at what you do, but you are not paid for it. 
it is your passion

2. You may be content doing it and earning money for it, but you are not good at it. this your mission

3. You might be brilliant at it and get paid for it, but you don't enjoy doing it. It is your chosen profession.

4. You may be content, and the world needs it. It is your vocation.
